Milltown Fire Truck 1476
Truck 1476 is a 2008 Chevrolet 3/4 ton truck. The truck was purchased with money raised at the 2007 Taco Feed and was built by the fireman themselves. Everything from the graphics, to mounting the 200 gallon tank and pump, to installing the emergency equipment. This truck replaced the 1980's version Chevrolet truck that the department used to have.
This truck is primarily a grass fire attack truck. It has a 200 gallon tank and a Honda water pump mounted in the back. This truck also currently transports our portable pump which is used for out of town water shuttling, and also transports the Yamaha Rhino that the department purchased with 2006 Taco Feed proceeds.
