Burning permits are required in all municipalities that the Milltown Volunteer Fire Department serves. It is your responsibility to acquire a burning permit BEFORE you do any controlled burning on your property. There are different regulations for all municipalities so contact them with any questions that you may have.

The Milltown Volunteer Fire Department does not issue burning permits for all municipalities. This is what a Burning Permit issued by Georgetown Township, Milltown Township and the Village of Milltown will look like: SAMPLE PERMIT

This website, from the Wisconsin DNR, gives a brief idea of when you need to acquire a permit. Sometimes, it is just better to be safe and get one if you have any questions.
